Welcome!

Warm greetings to you.

Come enter the realm of creative possibilities! Yes YOU!!

You may…

  • Be looking for a more intuitive, creative and feminine approach and path to life.

  • Be holding a creative dream or project and could benefit from some wise guidance to help initiate, progress or bring it to fruition.

  • An artist, writer, sculptor, poet, hobbyist, entrepreneur or student looking for a supportive community and routine where you can practice and hone your craft.

  • Love to dance, need the right music or a daily practice to get your body grooving more.

  • Be ready to elevate your living or work space with new art reflecting your reverence for beauty and the sacred.

  • Be overwhelmed, stressed or exhausted, and need to relax, unwind and come home to yourself.

If you're nodding along, I'd be honoured to be your guide, muse and co-creatrix on this remarkable journey.

You see, here’s what I know to be true…

Life doesn’t move in a straight line. It meanders and spirals. Ebbs and flows. It’s unpredictable, messy and challenging. It’s also magical, astounding and full of gifts.

I’ve discovered along my own spiraling journey that engaging with life from a place of creativity, as well as curiosity, compassion and courage (AKA, the 4 Cs) are essential keys to living well - with more joy and fulfilment. And they need to be PRACTICED. Every. Day. With love and patience.

My programs, services and products (self-directed or guided, private or group, virtual or in-person) are lovingly designed after years of my own practices so YOU too can PRACTICE these very ‘4 Cs’.

As a multi-passionate, visionary creatrix (artist, dancer, author, DJ); expressive, healing and spiritual arts facilitator and solo entrepreneur with decades of experience in the art of creating projects, trainings, homes, businesses and sacred spaces around the world, my special mix of art-making, ecstatic dance, dance sets, books, guided journeys and community-building are the containers and conveyers of these beautiful, life-giving practices.

Below are my most recent offerings. Perhaps there’s something useful here for you.

May you realize your own creativity, courage, compassion and curiosity. May you find your unique creative gifts and share them with the world. We need them.

Praise:

“Part adventure tale, part guidebook, part meandering jazz that takes us where we need to go, She Reflects mirrors the lightness and darkness of being human. Drawing on her own experience as dancer, teacher, and an embodiment of the Sacred Feminine, Erica Ross invites us to live it all: the mess and the magnificence; the poetry and the power; the stillness and the dance.” — Oriah "Mountain Dreamer" House, author of the bestseller, The Invitation

Open Studio has made me realize that while art is still personal, as is its process, it is also connecting and actively cocreating a community in a wonderful, surprising place called Zoom. Open Studio creates a venue where I feel connected to a beautiful, new community at a time in the world where there has been so much divisiveness.  A community where I may create, be witnessed and be witness to other beautiful people in their own creative process. As it turns out, we have many similar feelings about this process and the concept of making art, the witness and the witnessed, a beautiful circle cocreated through honouring our own creative metamorphosis.” – Jeannie Eleni Vasilakos, Sculptor

Open Studio was a lovely experience - having the company of other artists and Erica’s warm support was marvelous. My focus this year has been on writing and editing videopoems, but when I begin working in my studio again, I’ll be back for the camaraderie. The dance components of Erica’s Open Studio were also particularly wonderful!” — Brenda Clews

She Reflects is an inspiring, thoughtful account of life’s journeys and the lessons offered through conscientious practice. Erica Ross takes us on a journey through stories from Toronto to Bali to New York City, wisdom, imagery, exercises and music, inviting and guiding us to learn about ourselves and to reflect as she has. It is not only an invitation but also a guide for mindfulness, creativity, authentic body work and love. Her artwork is breathtaking. Her coloring book makes for deep self-soothing pleasure and is a gift for all ages. It is without reservation that I recommend both her manuscript and coloring books to those of all ages.” — Laura T., Clinical Psychologist

“I've really struggled in the past to make time for creative practice and to stay curious and patient with the process, despite feeling I had a lot to explore. Open Studio has been a really easy way to carve out time dedicated to creating and it's even spilling over into the rest of my week, as I'm finding myself wanting creative time each day. I'm really grateful for Erica's thoughtful, supportive and easy-going energy that has helped me get excited about flexing my creative muscles and being patient and trusting of my creative process. I'm excited to create again and that's such a priceless thing to feel again. Thank you Erica!” – A.M.

Open Studio with Erica has allowed me to keep my time for creativity as important as any other commitment I have in a week! I am always excited for what comes to the surface when you make space for it. Thank You!” – Erika Ruth

“Erica Ross’ She Reflects, a Spiral Journey for the Feminine Soul, shows us that our lives are rich, expansive, and wondrous beyond measure, continuously unfurling and evolving. Ross’ experience as a dancer and dance facilitator may well have shaped how she sees life as representing eight turns of a spiral. The book flows from this central idea as it presents the various turns and their meanings. Giving readers specific practices that we can do on our own or in a group, Ross invites us to dance more deeply and with greater joy into our own lives. This book isn’t something to be read and discarded, but is rather a resource that we can use - and be transformed by as we heal; love each other, and ourselves. Thank you, Erica for giving me the tools to reconnect to my feminine soul, and to remember that beauty and joy come when I engage in a dance with life.” — Lissa L. Cowan, Author, Writing Coach, Copy-Editor

“Since attending Open Studio, a creative online time to explore creativity in a supportive and safe space with many amazing fellow Creatives and Artists, I've improved my chances of dancing with my Muse instead of battling my demons. Erica Ross has given me the opportunity to explore and play without making the outcome the goal. The journey of dancing with my Muse is the masterpiece. Regardless if the paint stays on or is flowed off. The Creativity Goddesses and Gods always show up when I do. May the Flow be with every Artist and Creative around.” — Piera Marie

“Thank you Erica for providing such a great virtual space to create in. For years I have been wanting to work on some creative ideas but I have not found or made the time ....until now! Open Studio is now scheduled into my week, and each week I show up, sit (virtually) with others and create. What a great idea to start this!” — L.R.

“Erica Ross is a unique journeyer, creator, mother, friend, partner, dancer, author, and lover of life. She has distilled her 60+ years of love wisdom into this astounding book (She Reflects) and its companion colouring book. Erica carefully and compellingly weaves stories about her life, goddess mythology, dance exercises, self-reflective exercises, wonderful music playlists, images and insight into this delicious and heartful read. She shows in the most Erica way how following one's own prompts, intuition, and path leads us to the rich garden of our highest humanity.” — Val Moysey, Sound Healer, Bodyworker, DJ

Open Studio provided the structure and support to keep me focused. It is so easy to find other things to do and not prioritize art-making. Knowing that other people would be showing up and creating encouraged and inspired me to show up as well. Also, it has been great to see what others are working on, hear about their process and also share and receive feedback on my own work. It is a very supportive group! Thank you Erica for creating and maintaining this wonderful space!” – Lisa Ross-Rizikov

Erica Ross is a living, breathing heart chakra. Her book She Reflects features over 60 practices, stories and experiences based on a lifetime in the creative, healing and spiritual arts. She even includes playlists! Her adventurous life as a dancer, DJ, artist, world traveller, group facilitator and mother spill out on the pages as wisdom gained and shared for our benefit. Designed to awaken curiosity, courage, compassion, creativity, self-love and self-care, this book is clearly a gift of love to all of us. A ray of sunshine on a dark day, it's my spiritual caffeine.” — Nadine Prada, Artist, Freelance Art Director

“As I reflect on my journey with artmaking, there has been a palpable rise in energy supporting me to keep creating. I credit the intersection of Open Studio with the challenges of the past few years and my desires to keep creating and sharing.” — Andra Evans

“As women in this society, we are taught to disown and ignore our inner desires and wisdom. It takes a lifetime of unlearning to find that place within us that holds the answers, that provides that which we most need to live our lives fulfilled and in service as we are meant to be.

Erica Ross's book, She Reflects, serves as the perfect guide to find our way back to our inner wisdom. It is perfect for women of all ages and all walks of life. It weaves together adventures, teachings, goddess mythology, playlists, art and practices, designed to be used alone or with the She Reflects Journal & Colouring Book. I found this book inspiring, uplifting, and a place where I can rest and reclaim my feminine nature. Highly recommend to any woman looking for more creativity, freedom and ease in her life.” — Julie Daugherty, Executive Assistant

Erica brings deep love, care and magic to everything she does. She touches the hearts of the women she works with deeply, holding their lives, their gifts and potential as sacred. In doing so, she treats them as flowers ready to unfold, helping them to gently and courageously open to themselves, to a community of sisters and to the greater currents of life." — Marilyn Daniels, Leadership Coach, Toronto

She provides safe and transformational spaces for women, inspiring them to live a life more full of beauty, wonder, kindness and openness. Her workshops are a beautiful mix of movement, dance, guided imagery, creative expression, poetry and beauty.

She feeds the souls of women and the soul of the world through the beauty of who she is and what she does.
